MathWorks in Germany

MathWorks is the leading developer of mathematical computing software. Engineers and scientists worldwide rely on MATLAB and Simulink to accelerate the pace of discovery, innovation, and development in numerous industries.

In Germany, MathWorks plays a pivotal role in supporting the automotive industry, along with aerospace and defense, automation and machinery, and green energy production. Our largest German office is strategically located in Munich’s prestigious Macherei district. Here, a highly motivated team collaborates with commercial and academic customers in both Germany and Austria. The Paderborn office boasts MathWorks Germany’s largest software development group. Additionally, we maintain smaller offices in Aachen and Stuttgart, each staffed by friendly, knowledgeable professionals.

Office Culture

At MathWorks Germany, we take pride in the long tenure of many of our staff, a clear indicator of our stable, supportive work environment, competitive compensation, and career development opportunities. Employees enjoy a flexible hybrid working model, which allows time to collaborate with colleagues in well-equipped offices with state-of-the-art workstations while also balancing personal and family obligations.

Regular outings and events contribute to the positive team atmosphere at each office. Free fruit and beverage options as well as a bike leasing program and a fitness subsidy benefit promote health and well-being. In addition, paid volunteer time encourages staff to give back to their local communities.

Several workers are seated at two side-by-side tables, interacting with each other, looking at material in front of them, or drinking from cups.
