Physical Modelling with Simscape (Highlights)

Modelling multidomain physical systems demands an integrated, reusable, and customisable approach, which is provided by Simscape™. In this session, Rick demonstrates the Simscape language and important considerations in its use, which include:

• The tradeoff between fidelity and simulation speed in electrical networks
• Using modelling to select between electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic actuation

This session includes a tutorial on physical networks and their application to multidomain system modelling.
