Finding Causes of Slow Simulations

The Simulink^® Solver Profiler can be used with Simscape™ models to find causes for slow simulations. Running the simulation with the profiler active will produce plots and tables that show solver behavior during simulation. This information will highlight periods of time where the simulation ran slowly. A list of blocks associated with the small step sizes is produced, and you can navigate directly to those blocks to address the problems highlighted by the Simulink Solver Profiler.
