Description

We at TLK have many years of experience in modeling and simulation of thermal systems. Our Modelica model library TIL Suite is used by many OEMs worldwide for dynamic simulation of heat pumps, refrigeration cycles, fuel cells, and electrolyzers. Thanks to the open standard for model exchange FMI, these system models can be imported in Simulink® and used for control design, including hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing on real-time machines such as Speedgoat.

We offer a well-tested model library and toolchain as well as our extensive experience in numerics and thermodynamics to support your project.

Plant models are developed in Modelica based on our library TIL Suite. With FMI (co-simulation source code), they are imported into Simulink. Control design and closed-loop simulations are done in Simulink. For HIL tests, the plant model is exported from Simulink to Speedgoat. TLK Energy ensures compatibility with Simulink Real-Time and Speedgoat hardware by performing regular testing.

These models (2-phase flow, complex hydraulics) are numerically challenging and have a high CPU load. Each project usually needs some iterations to achieve robustness and real-time requirements. For more information, please visit our website.
