Home use option - size limitation?

Hi, I see there is an option to buy for home use. Are there any size (matrix) that it can handle? Are there any limits compared to other license versions for the Matlab itself and toolboxes? Thanks for your reply, Naimi

I don't think there are any limitations in terms of computational power. According to the MATLAB Home FAQ page,

"MATLAB Home provides you with the same power and functionality as the professional version of MATLAB."

The FAQ also mentions that technical support is not available for the Home edition. You're expected to rely on MATLAB Answers. Not sure if you see that as a limitation.

Primarily the capability is in the use--you're not allowed to do commercial work for hire or remuneration with it, only personal-interest stuff. Basically, if it's part of making a living it probably doesn't qualify; if you're "just playing" that's ok.
