Buying Matlab Student version.

So, my laptop is on it's last legs and could break quite soon. I was just wondering, if I buy the student version of matlab would I be able to deactivate it from a broken laptop from a different laptop and then activate it on said new laptop? Thanks.

Yes, as long as you're still a student (you'll need to deactivate it from the old machine).
