What is the difference between HDL coder and System Generator blockset?

I need a brief idea on system generator and HDL Coder. Which one is more suitable for FPGA sysnthesis?

HDL Coder generates synthesizable RTL code generation from Simulink, MATLAB, Stateflow, and Simscape for ASIC/FPGA soltuions. Xilinx System Generator is a block library designed in simulink customized for Xilinx targets.

There is also integration between the two products and you can use the products together. See the attached whitepaper.
