Will Matlab 2017a work under Big Sur

Greetings,

Will MatLAb 2017a run under Big Sur?

I have legacy code that works under 2017(a) but has some issues with 2020(b)

It is not officially supported, but you can try. Did you look around if others have tried it? As long as you are talking about Intel CPUs and not the M1-powered devices, I would expect you have a reasonable chance it will work.

Another option would be to resolve the issues in your code.

Nothing before R2019a is expected to work with Big Sur, but some of the problems only crop up if you are using a system locale other than en_us

I will experine nt with the legacy on Big Sur, but must admit I have alerady begun teh process to port code to Python. But it is good to have options.
