Control of Ball valve

Hi,

I'm working on similar kind of model, i've choosen ball valve block from simscape and i'm not able to control it. i've connected the actuator to "S" port of ball valve and after giving positive value, the valve closed but when the negative value is given it's not openeing.Can you please help me with this, i've attached simulink file for reference.

Please find the attachment and do the needfull.

Hi Ankith,

I looked at your model and connected an sine wave signal/command to the valve actuator block. The ball valve seems to work fine: positive S value opens the valve while negative value closes it. Was the problem the missing input signal to the valve actuator?
