What is the meaning of any_image(:,w:-1:1) in MATLAB

I have seen this line in a program, but couldn't understand what it means. As far as i know, the first part means 'for all rows' but i didn't understand

w:-1:1 start with w step -1 till 1
6:-1:1 -> 6 5 4 3 2 1
