Uploading a file through GUI

I've been trying to upload a photo through a GUI push button and i've encountered some problems. Does anyone have any source code for this kind of thing? Thank you in advance,

What sort of problems -- show us some code. Doesn't seem like the GUI should have much to do with it; can you do the function without the interface?

Uploading to which service? To your network drive or to Snapchat, to www.mathworks.com or a file hoster?
