Issue with kruskalwallis() function not working in Live Script after installing MATLAB R2025a

Hi everyone,
After installing MATLAB version R2025a, I noticed that some functions freeze and do not run at all in Live Script. For example, the function kruskalwallis() completely freezes when executed within a Live Script, but it works normally in the Command Window and regular scripts.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there any known solution or workaround?
Thank you in advance for your help!

It happens that there is a seperate report tonight of graphics hanging in mlx files, this time when subplot() is used. https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/discussions/tips/881887-there-is-an-error-in-the-subplot-function-in-2025a-version/2620277#reply_2620277

Hi Geovane Gomes,
I too encountered the similar issue. The workaround that worked for me was to disable the plot output. Kindly use the following command to disable the plot while calling the "kruskalwallis" function. However using this command will execute the "kruskallwallis" with ANOVA table and stats in MATLAB R2025a in live Script but it will not generate or display associated plot.
[p,tbl,stats] = kruskalwallis(x,[],'off')

I was teaching anova1 using the R2025a version yesterday and it hangs up in live script. Here's what I tested so far:
Laptop with MATLAB installed: anova1 runs in the command window and in script, but not live script.
Computer lab classroom podium computer: anova1 ran in the command window, had figures in the script output if I hit the stop button, and would not run in live script.
MATLAB online: Same as the podium computer.
Here is my test code:
clear
clc
x=[1,10,20;2,11,22;3,12,22] %dummy matrix to debug code
p=anova1(x) %simplest possible version of anova1 syntax.
I tried the 'off' solution suggested by hitesh and it worked.
clear
clc
x=[1,10,20;2,11,21;3,12,22]
[p,tbl,stats] = anova1(x,[],'off')
It puts the Anova table in the output window where I expected to see it.
