Can anyone explain how Cody calculates the size of a program?
I read the help, but couldn't understand. :(

You can read the code of the underlying mtree command, but it is not a revelation directly. At least it clarifies how the "length" is calculated, but it remains a secret, why this objective should matter. This has been discussed repeatedly in this forum, such that searching is a good idea.
