Is there a memory leak in EXIST in MATLAB 6.5 (R13)?
If I use exist to check for the existence of a directory, it seems that MATLAB does not release its handle to that directory unless I exit MATLAB.

This problem has been fixed in MATLAB 6.5.1 (R13SP1). If you are using a previous version, there
are no known workarounds.
