Simulation Shut Down

I am running a large power system simulation as part of my project. however halfway through the simulation matlab closes, i get the message saying simulation is ruuning do you want to shut down but the answer (yes/no) is irrelevant as matlab closes either way. there is no warning of memory usage or anything.

has anyone come across this before?

Chris: Could you check if a stack trace was generated when MATLAB crashed? See http://www.mathworks.com/help/techdoc/matlab_env/f8-25321.html#brkgtvh for help on obtaining it. Once you have obtained this, it might be best to contact Tech Support about it.
