Hide annoying subsystem icon

Hi,

When adding a configurable or variant subsystem, a small icon is displayed in the lower left of the subsystem block that shows a 'block choice' or 'variants enabled' tooltip. I can't seem to find any way to hide the icon, which is a bit annoying since it conceals underlying port labels. If I want to avoid this, I have to make the vertical size of the subsystem extremely large.

Is there an easy fix? I'm using Simulink R2013a.
