Simscape Synchronous reluctance motor model issue

Good day,
I have been using the Simulink model examples of the SynRM and I cannot fully understand and convince that the behaviour obtaines is correct.
After many trials and changing parameters and operating conditions, I think there could be a bug with the machine model. I started using Matlab 2018b that include the Simscape Electrical v7.3 library version 7.0, but and I also do the test into the 2020a matlab having the Simscape Electrical v7.3 library.
I attached the files that made me suspect something is wrong. There, the simscape SynRM is estimulatied by a constant three phase voltage, so as to run the machine without a load other than an inertia in a non controlled starting. For comparison, I have a model taken from a paper that gives the parameters they used, thus I can compare the models behaviour. The results are different given the same parameters, what is expected because I guess the models are different too, but there is an important differece: on steady state the Simscape SynRM will not reach the sincronous speed, but only the half of it. The other model reached the synchronous speed. Moreover, in steady state condition, the measured torque in the Simscape SynRM turnes out to be pulsanting.
Is there someone who has used the Simscape model successfully?

We don’t know the assumptions used in the custom model. I have spotted a few sign mismatches that I believe should be different but also the parameterization may be based on different assumptions. Would be better to define a test scenario that allows for validation agains the theory.
