how to initiate frame acquiring with trigger?

Hi
I am using a BSI express camera
I have a problem that when the trigger command is set, the camera outputs the last frame that is already taken.
it is clear since the whole process takes shorter time than the exposure time.
I want the camera to start the image acquisition after i use the "trigger" command.
any suggestions?
