MATLAB installer having problems recognizing location I selected for it to be installed

Hello, I'd like to install MATLAB in the D:\ location of my computer, however when I select the programs I want and click on continue, a message will pop up saying that the location I selected is C:\. I don't want anything to be installed in the SSD because I don't have any space there. No idea if it's a bug or if I'm doing something wrong.
Thank you in advance.
(edit): I didn't specify that in the location section (or phase) of the installer I wrote the following: D:\MATLAB\R2021a, have already rechecked it many times and still nothing.

As per my understanding, the installer automatically tries to download the installation files to the Downloads folder (Windows) or your Home directory (Linux/Mac). You can refer to the answer in the community on How do I change the default download directory for the MATLAB installer in R2014a or newer? for resolving this.
