Vsc based hvdc model theoretical analysis

I would like to know if there is a theoretical analysis of the Vsc based hvdc model demo just like the one of the 12-pulse hvdc model included on Matlab documentation. As it is hard enough to achieve any steady state, some theoretical analysis of the model might help.
