How do we change the maximum number of parallel cores without a visual interface?

As the picture shows, in the Windows environment, we can change the maximum number of cores in Parpool on one computer through modify the number of work programs to be started on the local computer in the Cluster Profile Manager in the visual interface.
In the Linux environment, how do we change the maximum number of parallel cores without a visual interface?
