Procv (excel) in Matlab

Hi everyone,

I have a matrix containing in the first column the time and in the second column a vector corresponding to the second derivative of a sigmoidal function (second derivative calculated by differences). A=[t ysecondderivative]. I need to find the time between the maximum and the minimum of the second derivative? example: Maximum reached in 5,25h and minimum reached in 7.6h. This is very similar to procv function in excel, which search for a number and returns the value of a desired column.

I'm struggling with that if anyone can help me.
