Hi,
Maybe a silly question, but it's just out of curiosity.
When matlab is stuck at "Busy" or is taking a really long time to execute a command, is it at all possible to see what it's doing live? Or if not, find out what part of the command it is/was stuck on?
Thanks in advance

You might be able to click the pause button and it will stop there, then hopefully if you click continue, it will continue.

Ah that worked. Thanks. I've tried this in the past, but didn't have any luck. It would just freeze/crash. Thanks again.

Unfortunately there is no "live" update of progress of any kind.
I've just made a suggestion to Mathworks -- but even if they implement it, I would imagine it would take a while. (Lead times are remarkably long. It is already nearly too late for new features for R2021b.)
