So, in Simscape there are many different drivers available for different motors H-bridge, stepper etc. However, there are also not drivers for every single motor.
So my question is, how is it possible to model a PMDC motor driver, which takes a signal input and changes that into the necessary voltage in simulink?
Thank you.

See this documentation page on a Permanent Magnet DC Motor model.

Yes I have looked at this documentation, however, I have modelled my motor using gain blocks in simulink instead of in simscape, so I tried to connect a controllable voltage source to my model however, I am having issues with connecting my simulink model to the controllable voltage source from simscape.
