Measure PWM frecuency in a FPGA (Simulink) from a Beagle Bone

Hi everyone!

I´m generating a PWM signal in a BeagleBone Black board. I need to measure its frecuency in a FPGA that I´m programming with Simulink, to use that data in internals operations. I dont know if theres a way to directly measure the frecuency of an input signal in the FPGA.
