Matlab function in Simulink

Hi,

I have been using a simple matlab function in Simulink, which has an input connected to a constant block assigned to 2. However along the simulation I find out that for the first 0.25 ms this input is somehow always 1, as shown in the picture below.

I'm wondering whether it is a default delay set inside this block. Could you please tell me more details and how to remove it?
