Can any one check why quasi-newton is not working for my function ?

function V = PRSopt_QN(radius,alpha,beta)

fun = @(x)PRSopt_QN(x(1),x(2),x(3));
x0 = [0.25, deg2rad(120),deg2rad(120)]';
x = fminunc(fun,x0,options)

options is not defined.

The call to fminunc needs to go somewhere else, not inside that function. That function needs to give the formula for the value instead
