Equidistant offsets to points on a log scale

I am trying to plot multiple sets of data points and error bars on a log x axis (e.g. three sets of points with the same x values). I want to offset the error bars a little from the data points so they do not overlap each other. I need to find offsets to each of the x values so that error bar appear equidistant from the central point at each x value.

In my example of three point per x value, one error bar would be on each x value, one slightly before it and one slightly behind it.

Can anyone give me a formula where i input the set of x values and output offsets to either side tht will appear equidistant from the original set?
