How can i change excel file extension into .DAT or .rd file?

I tried to change the excel file extension using notepad, but DAT&.rd extensions are not available there, may someone tell me another method to do that?

Is that the correct rdfile format? Or are you using Adobe Creative, which creates .rd files that are completely different?

Try using readtable() and writetable() to convert the data to .dat format

T = readtable('filename.xlsx')
writetable(T, 'filename.dat')
