Can't install matlab_R2020b_win64.exe on Windows 10. Anytime I try to install using this exe the winzip extractor opens.

Can't install matlab_R2020b_win64.exe on Windows 10. Anytime I try to install using this exe the winzip extractor opens (see attached). Any idea of what I can do? I had 2018b installed but uninstalled in an attempt to get the latest installation.

Is WINZIP being associated as default app to open .EXE files in your system?
You can try the following steps to resolve your problem:
  • Right click on matlab_R2020b_win64.exe file and select Run as administrator option.

Thanks. This helped. I finally let it complete and was able to successfully install R2020b.
