Discrete-Time Integrator - Initial condition setting

In the 'Discrete-Time Integrator'-block in Simulink, it is possible to change the 'Initial condition setting'. It can be set to 'Auto' or 'Output'. When looking into the documentation, 'Output' seems like the correct option for me. However, the documentation states: 'Use this option when the block is in a triggered or a function-call subsystem and Integrator method is set to an integration method.'. I indeed have an integration method, but I don't think my system is in a triggered or a function-call subsystem. Am I reading the documentation incorrectly, or will using 'Output' actually cause unexpected behaviour?
