Cannot connect to Launchpad TMS320F28379D Development Kit
41 ビュー (過去 30 日間)
I tried to connect to TMS320F28379D but not successed when run "Monitor & Tune" with a very simple model, write a "1" to GPIO Output.
The selected "Hardware board" is TI Delfino F28379D LaunchPad.
Cable, Kit are ok because I debuged them using Code Console Studio.
The Configuration Parameters for Hardware Implementation is as attached picture, please have a look.
There have an error as below. I copied from Diagnostic Viewer.
"Device header/source file path for the selected hardware board TI Delfino F28379D LaunchPad is not found. Run targetupdater at the MATLAB command prompt and setup the support package for "Texas Instruments C2000 (Embedded Coder)"."
After run "targetupdater", there have new problem as below. I copied from Command Window of Matlab.
"Unrecognized function or variable 'targetupdater'."
So, I tried to update "Embedded Coder support package for Texas Instruments C2000 processor" to version 20.1.2 and "Embedded Coder support package for Texas Instruments Concerto processor" to version 20.1.2.
But still cannot connect to TMS320F28379D.
Please help me fix this problem.
Thank you so much.

Hi HongPong, Akash,
Please configure the support package after installation. To configure the support package, you can go to Matlab, Add-Ons, Manage Add-Ons, which will list the installed Add-Ons. For the right side of Embedded coder support package of TI C2000 in the Add-On list click the Gear icon for setup.
We have observed this issue with CCS ver 10.3.x , older version of CCS does not have this problem. Please try CCS v10.2 or below. You can refer to the below post for more details

- Make sure you have CCS 9 or older version for F2379D Version.
- Made my controller restart and updated the baud-rate. for SCI_A my baude rate was 5e5, i changed it to 115200 and it started working.

I had the same problem. Just like what Aditya Padmanabha mentioned the Embedded coder support package of TI C2000 in the Add-On was not setup. I followed this video and it fixed it https://nl.mathworks.com/videos/getting-started-with-embedded-coder-support-package-for-ti-c2000-processors-1573540550102.html?s_tid=vid_pers_recs
