Interpolate multiple geographic coordinates in simple way

hello:)
I have latitude and longitude dataset(ex. lon = [126,125,124,123...], lat = [40,39,38,37...]) which are recorded every 4 seconds.
but I want to interpolate this lat,lon dataset into every seconds to look like the data are recorded every 1 seconds.
is there anyway to interpolate this data without using too many for loops?

Read about interp1, interp2, interpn.
