Is it possible to change the appearance of uidropdown?

I am designing an app in appdesigner and would like to change the appearance of the dropdown to look similar to uicontrol's "popupmenu". Is this possible?

DropDown component is used App Designer
Popmenu is used in GUIDE
Both have same functionality and Incase of appearance not much difference except the round edges of box.
You may refer to the documentation for properties of dropdown component
