how to display multiple points on a constellation diagram?

I am simulating a 8-psk modulation system. Every example that I see in MatLab of the constellation diagram shows multiple points displayed, like a cloud, but for some reason my diagram only shows one point at time. Each point flashes and goes away and I am left a single point at the end of the simulation. Am I missing something?
