I've switched to 2012b and am struggling with the new interface. When writing code I often use the ability to highlight one or more lines of text and run them. I can't find any way to do that in the new version. Did the Mathworks make it go away? Anyone know where to find it?
(No, I don't want to define cells of text with the %% command every time I want to do this.)

  1. Select *.m file text
  2. Right click
  3. Evaluate selection or hit F9
isn't working?
If it isn't you'll have to go into Preferences->keyboard->shortcuts and turn it on; but it should be on by default.
