Converting 3D plot into surface like plot.

Hi everyone ! I have a data on Total Number of Aircraft in each Hour in the Month of January. I have already plot the 3D plot using plot3 function (X axis = Day , Y axis = Hour, Z axis = Number of Aircraft) but now I want to convert it to surface like plot. Is it possible? anyone know how? Hope anyone could help :D thank you.

[DAY, HOUR] = meshgrid(Day, Hour);
NUMAIRCRAFT = repmat(numAircraft, 1,numel(Day));
surf(DAY, HOUR, NUMAIRCRAFT)
