Parrot Minidrone with Flypad

I‘m planning a new project with a quadcopter and for that I‘m thinking about the Parrot Mambo Minidrone. But I want to develop the flight algorithm by myself. With that it is possible to develop the algorithm and directly interact with the drone and download the code with Simulink. For example you can use a flight Controller Interface or the keyboard to control the drone. What I want to know is if the Parrot Flytab could also be used with Simulink Code ?
