Hi,
for a vibration analysis I need to measure the acc in the x and y direction of a rotor (z being rotational axis). How do I do this? I thought about using a planar joint and then somehow restricting x y translation to 1mm but I don't know how to do it. If I use a cylindrical joint I cannot measure x and y acc?!
Any suggestions?
Thank you so much!

If you are measuring acceleration, you do not need to restrict motion. You just need to ensure your measurement is only along the axes you care about. A Transform Sensor will get you the measurement you need. Just ensure its reference frame is suitable for your measurement.
