Hello guys I wanna model a synchronous machine merely with controlled sources, s- functions and R L C components with no more components of other types. Is it possible to model in this way and keep most of the transient and dynamic characteristics of synchronous machines when disturbance and fault happens? I really dont know how to model this because the blocks in synchronous machines are quite confusing.

You are looking to model the synchronous machine equivalent circuit. Look online for how the circuit looks and build the blocks. Maybe there are models available for download somewhere already.

Yes Jonas you are right. Equiv Circuit of simplified sync machine is very easy to model and I have modelled a simplified sync machine using controlled voltage sources successfully. But equiv circuits of fundemental and standard sync machines are too sophiscated and I cannot understand them.
