Matlab was installed on a mapped netdisk by PC1 using the "designated computer license" with path in linux : /netdisk/matlab/bin/matlab
When I tried to lanuch matlab on PC2 which also can visit the netdisk path,
/netdisk/matlab/bin/matlab -nojvm -nodisplay -r /netdisk/code/matlabnew
I got the following error:
License checkout failed.
License Manager Error -9
The hostid of your computer ("001018b8e366 001018b8e364 d4bed9a90f76 d4bed9a90f78") does not match
the hostid of the license file (2c55d3f3ea27).
To run on this computer, you must run the Activation client to reactivate your license.

That Designated Computer license was configured for a different computer than the one you are installing on.
The license was generated for a HUAWEI TECHNOLOGIES device. The computer you are running on is a Dell with Broadcom chipset wifi.
