help me in image processing (intensity pair distribution)

how can i find an intensity pairs distribution for a given image
if we assume that we only consider 4 neighborhood of a pixel
am testing an algorithm purposed in this paper

There is a function called graycomatrix() in the Image Processing Toolbox that may come in useful. Otherwise check out this link inthe FAQ: http://matlab.wikia.com/wiki/FAQ#Can_you_program_up_the_algorithm_in_this_article_for_me_and_explain_it_to_me.3F and come back with your code if you still have specific questions.
