Hello,
I am currently running a simulation with a PV module connected to an H-Bridge that is feeding into a grid based off of the example "power_PVarray_3500W." I have changed the PV parameters and the inverter control parameters accordingly to model a PV array more similar to what I am working with. However, the PV module does not seem to be behaving correctly.
When I measure the PV current and voltage and plot the I-V curve after the simulation is over, at near the open circuit voltage the PV module breaks down (as shown in the attached figure 1). Note that only a portion of the I-V curve is shown because that is the voltage range of the simulation. The correct IV curve obtained from the module's settings itself is shown in the attached figure 2. have tried lowering the sample rates up to 1e-8 seconds, but at that point the simulation runs so slowly it would take hours to finish.
Is there something I need to be aware of, is this a common problem that occurs when certain conditions are met?
Please Advise,
Jon

Hi Jonathan. Did you figure out a solution to this problem. I'm having the same issues.
I have attached pics of my model and the output. Very strange
