Elliptic Mesh Generation - Graphics/Ploting help

I am trying to create a grid like the following:

I have two vectors: X and Y coordinates.

I need to find a way to add vertical lines to this plot.

Try this. It separates the points on edge and connects each of them to the center.

y_edge = y10N(end-50:end);

lines_Y =  [zeros(size(x_edge)).'; ...
            y_edge.'];
