step 1: unzip matlab_R2020a_glnxa64.zip
Step 2: sudo sh install
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::runtime_error'
what(): Unable to launch the MATLABWindow application

BTW, I was able to install matlab2019a on the same Ubuntu18.04(fully patched).
