How can I adjust treble/bass/volume using dB values?

I have an App Designer app with three sliders that allow the user to input treble, bass and volume output values in dB. How could I implement this to affect the output of an audioplayer object as so:
[y,Fs] = audioplayer("filename.wav");
I have looked at the following link but am struggling to see how this fits in with the y and Fs values above.
