Does anyone know how to get an acceleration measurement from a simscape mechanical system? I see there is a rotational and translational position sensor that gives angular/translational position and velocity. How can I get the angular/translational acceleration? I am fairly new to the simscape modeling technique, so forgive me for the answer not being obvious to me.

Hi,
By default the rotational and translational position sensor provide only angular/translational position and velocity. You can convert the signal to simulink and then use the Derivative Block to get the accelaration out of the velocity input.
Hope this helps !!
