How to use from workspace block

How do I use the from workspace block to input a range of data for solar irradiance? What format of the excel sheet should I have?

If you have a xlsx file for solar irradiance, could you use a 'From SpreadSheet' block?
Could you attach your xlsx file?

Since R2015b, Simulink supports the From Spreadsheet block.
From Spreadsheet can read Excel files directly and output signals to Simulink.

Sample model is as attached.
