Drawing a line in a gui

I am creating a gui in matlab where I have 12 editfields which the user would enter a specific label. After the user has entered the labels. Let's say the user enters A in the first editfield and Z in the 12th editfield; I want create a pushbutton where the user would to be able to draw a line connecting A to Z which is the first to 12th editfields.
