error using bwferet function in matlab 2016a

i am using 'bwferet' function but it is showing "undefined function or variable"
why it is so?

It was not until Release 2019a that that function was introduced. For some reason, you didn't fill out the form completely when you submitted your question so we don't know what version you're using but I bet it's before R2019a.
Until you can upgrade, see Steve's blog on feret diameters.
